The Wellbeing Hub

Wellbeing Practitioner Lindsay is truly passionate about supporting people on their journey of self discovery, peace and enlightenment.  With the focus very much being on self empowerment by helping you connect with your unique and wonderful self.  Working together, you will be fully supported and 'held' in a safe space where you can to just be.  Incorporating conventional therapeutic practices. intuitiveness and spirituality.

In life, we can sometimes 'lose sight' due to past experiences, trauma, grief, demands and pressures.  We are busy being the partner, parent, sibling, worker, carer and so on.  We 'feel' this in our sleep patterns, behaviours, emotionally and physically, affecting how we think, feel and see.

The Wellbeing Hub is all about removing the outside noise and allowing you time to just be.  Reigniting that sparkle from within by having time for you to feel what you feel, release, let go, heal and grow or simply just relax.  Creating that beautiful space within allows your pathway to open up to truth, self awareness and self discovery.  This is your life, your journey and it is all about you.

Tree Lined Path

Lindsay Claire

Owner & Founder of The Wellbeing Hub

I naturally found my way into this wonderful way of working through my own personal life experiences.  Overcoming childhood trauma, abuse, ill health and navigating life as a single mum to two children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  I have personally been there, in that difficult place where you question 'what is this all about'.  Life has definitely been challenging at times, but my experiences have brought me to where I am today.

My spiritual awareness started at the age of four, when I began communicating with loved ones who had passed over.  Throughout my life, my spirituality and intuitiveness has naturally developed into ways I didn't realise were possible.  Whilst I don't openly offer my services as a working medium, my spiritualism is part of who I am and naturally forms and enhances my work practices.  I am a natural empath who senses and feels what others are feeling and am passionate about helping others.

Using my own therapeutic approach incorporating various therapeutic methods with the focus always being on the whole person - the mind, body & soul.  I am an intuitive Wellbeing Practitioner who incorporates holistic, spiritual and conventional therapies that are individually identified for each person based on what is right for you and your needs.  My therapeutic approach is fluid, interchangeable and completely personal to you.

My professional training in Counselling & Mental Health for both adults and children began many years ago.  Driven by my own personal experiences from abuse starting in my childhood and going through to adulthood.  I learned that I needed to heal, to understand, to learn and most importantly to 'just be'. I have firsthand experienced the power of the mind by truly connecting with the inner core of yourself in order to bring healing and peace.  Here at the Wellbeing Hub,  this is what I want to share with you and support you on your journey.

Working together, you will be fully supported and 'held' in a safe space where you can to 'just be'.  Be yourself, feel what you feel, release & let go, heal, grow and commence on your journey of self discovery, self awareness and wellness.  I have trained for many years to a high standard, mostly in person and I keep my skills up to date with continuous personal development.  Confidentiality, professionalism and boundaries are of the utmost importance and underpin all of my work.

My Inspiration

Mental Health support in the UK has rapidly declined over the years with many of our 'safe structures' such as education, the workplace and our healthcare system being driven by financial goals and misplaced targets.  So many people of all ages, backgrounds and sadly so many children are struggling due to our limited and overstretched services.  We have reached a bit of a mental health crisis, waiting lists for mental health support and counselling are long. Mental health conditions are being treated with medication, focussing on the symptoms rather than treating the core of the problem, in effect sticking a plaster over it.

We are living in a world where the expectation is for us to 'live the perfect life', with the pressures of social media, fitting in, conforming and not being different. It is no wonder we have become disconnected, losing contact with our true selves and no longer trusting our most reliable way of knowing when something is right for us, or not - our inner voice.

I myself have felt lost in this system of life, as have my children who have additional needs which haven't been properly supported by our 'support systems'.  I have heard stories of people reaching out for support and the help just hasn't been there.

I have worked through the impact of trauma, abuse and slowly but surely overcome anxiety and depression.  Learning how deeply ingrained negative behaviour patterns were impacting on my adult life. I often think back to my counselling training, when I asked the question "am I too damaged to help others".  I was told "it is because of what you have been through that you will be an successful therapist".

All of this is my inspiration and why I formed The Wellbeing Hub and drives my passionate to support others.  We sometimes all need a little extra help, whether that be some time out for you, some coping strategies, self care or talking therapies.  I will hold space for you to 'just be', walking along side you in a safe and supportive way to inner calm, personal awareness, empowerment and improved wellbeing.  Life is for living and it all starts with taking that first step.....
